Singer109 Hostel

Stayed at the hostel on sep 4th night with my friend on a 6 bed mixed dormitory. The other occupants were 4 british girls who at night brought 3 random boys from outside inside the room and they stayed there. This puts a real question mark on the security of the hostel when any random person from outside can get entry inside the room

The place is about 15 mins from the neatresr tram and subway, which makes it convenient. The place is huge, and the kitchen has everything it needs. It has big common areas and everything was clean. I enjoyed my stay. They charge €2 per towels so be sure to bring your own. The lock is €5 deposit which you get back after returning it. The key is extra €2 which also you get back when you check out. Overall clean and comfortable place. I recommend.

great hostel with lovely staff and the two person pods were really comfortable. there wasn’t a lot of communal activities going on but in a good location close to public transport.

Complessivamente è una bella struttura, lati negativi: niente tendine nei letti e lockers senza possibilità di essere chiusi a chiave. lati positivi: è presente una cucina mediamente attrezzata, siamo arrivati alle 8 e ci hanno lasciato mettere lo zaino in una stanza chiusa a chiave gratuitamente, ovviamente condivisa con gli altri ospiti dell'ostello ma non accessibile da esterni

camera pulita, letti comodi ma senza tendina e la mia lampadina non funzionava. armadietti capienti ma rumorosi. Non vicinissimo ai mezzi, ma una decina di minuti di camminata si possono fare. Molto silenzioso, ottimo per riposarsi, meno per fare amicizia. Nel complesso esperienza buona, se cercate una struttura per riposarsi in una zona tranquilla e silenziosa è ottima.

it's a great hostel. a bit far from the city but it's okay with public transport. there is no AC so during the heatwave the night was a bit hard. also the windows of my room opened on the hall where there was a smoking room. let's just say that I could smell the smoking from my room + the heatwave + asthma it was hard. it's a weird thing that windows don't give you fresh air but smoking air

The hostel was very clean and had a nice atmosphere - it was a little quiet for us but that would probably suit others. The location was good for some of the popular clubs and attractions around Berlin, most of which were within a 30 min walk. Our only issue was that there didn’t seem to be many places to eat nearby! Overall we enjoyed our stay

I ended up in a room with 12 capsules when I had booked a room with 8. I asked to change and they had no rooms available.While staying there the people at the hostel were talking loud at 3-4 am and couldn’t sleep for 2 nights straight. Went down to complain and they did nothing but when I mentioned that I had booked something else and that I signed up for something else and that I wouldn’t have booked the room,they did nothing but saying to send and email to the managers and ofc got no response.

The beds were great! They had curtains and each bed had its own fan which was great because it was SO INCREDIBLY HOT. If I were doing this trip again I probably would've stayed somewhere with AC because the room got so hot during the day, even with the windows open. And it only cooled off at night. Other than that, everyone there was so friendly and I liked that there was a chill area to hang out as well as a bar attached where people could have a bit more fun.

Hefty price does not reflect value - but not all bad. The pod experience was interesting, they are stuffy, get warm, and are not soundproof, you can hear anyone else in your room move around at night. There’s also only 2 showers and toilets for up to 20+ people. Showers have near zero privacy, people can pretty much see you naked apart from tinted glass, and there is nowhere private to get changed post-shower. Shared kitchen was very well equipped. If you’re here to go clubbing it does the job

Great value for money apartment. Very clean. Good facilities - especially the breakfast and the bar (although no laundry facilities which we were expecting as listed. It’s a 15 minute walk to nearest launderette). Really close to u/s Bahn and buses so can get anywhere really quickly. Would definitely stay again

The place was nice, beds were comfy but in a mixed room with one bathroom there was a problem because the showers had glass doors and no locks to keep people out was scared to have a shower as could be seen if anyone walked into the bathroom. Keep in mind if want to shower

Trevligt ställe med ett lugnt läge på bra avstånd från centrum. Trevlig personal som fixade AC och fläktar i värmeböljan. Kunde varit mer porslin i köket och avtorkning av bänkskivor i köket oftare. Röklukt i huset periodvis pga rökning tillåten i rummet vid entrén.

I LOVED my stay here! The property itself is beautiful and such a vibe. I stayed in a capsule room, and the bed was super comfy. Plus I met some amazing people while staying there. I also really enjoyed the bar downstairs and met a lot more great people there, including some staff. Overall, incredible stay and would definitely recommend.

I have stayed in around 100 hostels. The hostel was decent overall, but the check-in process took far too long and got the stay off to a frustrating start. The biggest issue was the lack of air conditioning. The rooms became unbearably hot, making it difficult to sleep. While I understand the hostel can’t control the weather, more could have been done, such as providing fans or improving ventilation. With a few improvements, the experience would have been much better.

hostel is 10 minuten van de metro vandaan. het was erg schoon en zag er nieuw uit, ook was het personeel super aardig. ontbijt is 8,50€ maar er is ook een gedeelde keuken waar je je eigen eten kan bereiden

During a heatwave they refused to keep the ac on at night and only windows open. Had to ask our room window be unlocked by staff at 2 am bed cause they forgot.

Unclean and no privacy at all in the bathrooms. Locker was broken. Other than that I’d definitely put this on my list of places I’d go back to. The capsules are soooo nice since you get so much privacy and they’re so big also. Very understanding and nice staff!

Espectacular. Un hostel de lujo que parece hotel. Estuvimos en habitación privada y tenia baño privado. Tenia una estufa en el baño y si lavabas algo de ropa se secaba rapido. Contaba tambien con secador. En recepción hablan español, asi de que de 10. El personal muy amable. Hay cocina compartida con todo equipado. Muy biwn ubicado y muy tranquillo. Lo elegiria nuevamente sin duda.

I liked the hostel but there's a few things that bothered me, for ex the cleaning staff would open the doors and come in the rooms at 10 in the morning, the last morning I was there the lady was standing next to our beds asking us questions while we were still sleeping which I thought was strange, also they did not come back during the afternoon so our room didn't get cleaned during our stay. Also if you want a place that has washing machines, know that they don't have any.

Das Hostel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage und man ist nur wenige Gehminuten von der U-Bahn entfernt. Ich habe habe mich auf das Abenteuer gefreut, in einer Kapsel zu schlafen. Die Matratze war super bequem. Bettzeug ist vorhanden und für mich war es zu warm, da es und er Kapsel trotz Ventilation warm wahr. Ich schlafe allerdings gerne kalt, so bin ich kein Vergleich. Frühstück für einen sehr guten Preis war top. Leider haben die Mitbewohner keine Rücksicht auf andere genommen.

Overall a really nice hostel located in a great place near bars, clubs, cafes and shops. We stayed in the pods which were comfy and clean but the ventilation was a bit loud and they were really hot without it. Slight problems with some of the bathroom doors which were hard to close, and the shower only let 1 person be there at a time, which slowed us down a bit. Staff were hit or miss with some having great conversations and others very standoffish, bar was great and cheap and food was good

Having a 4pm checkin was hard especially if tired. But otherwise the experience was good. Great variety in their breakfast.

This hostel is okay. Do not stay here if you value your sleep as it is so loud. The atrium (inner courtyard) magnifies every sound, so you definitely hear the daily 7 - 8 am vacuuming. Also, my room had no ventilation besides useless fans, so we had to open the windows into the atrium and thus hear everyone walking in and out of the common areas and reception. I did raise this issue with a staff member but got a very rude response. The room was very dusty, and the shower head was broken.

Stayed in one of the pods which was a fun experience as i’ve never stayed in one before. It was spacious and comfy inside and good ventilation. Location was a bit out the way but it was a straight train there and back, not as social as i thought it’d be considering it’s berlin. Staff and Kitchen were fine apart from the fact there was no microwave when I stayed.

We came as a couple in a capsule. The ventilation was necessary but it was clean, the capsule was relatively spacious. It was easy visiting Berlin from the Hostel.

We stayed in one of the pods which was very fun. Did mean we shared a bathroom with 15+ people but there was 2 of everything (toilet/sink/shower) so there was never a queue. The bar never got used and the atmosphere was pretty much non-existent but it was nice and quiet and had good kitchen facilities.

the wifi doesnt work unless youre in the lobby which was a huge disappointment as i need to do work during my stay. the beds were big and comfy and the bathroom was clean. but the location was awful nothing to do around there and the vibe was weird

Super séjour dans l'ensemble. Rien à redire sur l'ambiance, le personnel, les équipements ou l'emplacement. Simple petit bémol, nous n'avons pas trouvé de micro-ondes dans la cuisine. Ce n'est pas très grave, mais on ne s'y attendait pas... Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil.

It was overall a great stay. The setup of the hostel is very interesting and esthetically pleasing. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good and thoughtful. If you were vegan, you would have had a hard time during breakfast though. Also, my locker was flimsy and I didn't trust it much.

Hotel muy acogedor, muy bien situado y con buena comunicación de metro. Zona muy tranquila. El personal muy amable y casi todos hablaban español perfectamente incluso alguna española en la recepción. La habitación con baño era amplia, las camas cómodas. Lo único que el agua de la ducha se salía bastante y se hacía charco. Muy recomendable.

The hostel is great in terms of rooms and facilities. We had a kitchen and bathroom which were well proportioned. The breakfast was very good value. The only drawback was the noise. 2 out of 3 of our nights were seriously disturbed by a school party out of control for hours during the night. In the end we complained to the night manager who sorted. We had complained after the first occasion so disappointed it happened again. The school supervisors should have sorted it out.

Ho soggiornato 5 giorni con amici in una stanza privata da 4 con bagno. Camera molto carina, luminosa e ben organizzata: ogni letto ha luce, presa e comodino. Bagno pulito con pulizie quotidiane e cambio dell’asciugamano base. Struttura accogliente con reception/bar, biliardo a 1€ e sala fumatori. Disponibile anche deposito bagagli a 4€. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, esperienza super positiva, lo consiglio davvero! Staff gentile e disponibile, ambiente giovane e posizione comoda ai mezzi. Top!

It was a good hostel. I would have liked it more if it was more social.

This was a nice place. Beds need to be replaced as they felt quite old. But overall good. Breakfast was €7 and was worth it.

Hostel parfait ! Idéalement situé, à 5 min de deux magasins alimentaires, à 15min de Alexanderplatz, et des metros Les capsules sont biens, il y a des casiers pour les sacs, et les toilettes et douches sont nettoyés une fois par jour. Je recommande !
