Hostel très cool belle vie social, je n'ai pas vue de cuisine, offre de déjeuner moyennant un leger supplément et aussi machine a laver sur place très utile pour ceux qui voyage longtemps. Quelles que activités offertes.

This hostel deserves 5 stars. I came to Berlin with a purpose: two nights of clubbing, four nights at this hostel, and to walk the streets my grandfather once walked before the Nazis arrested him, identified by the pink triangle on his striped prison uniform. (Yes, not only Jewish ended up in camps, also people from our rainbow community. And yet, even today, some of our own community don't know about this, by the lack of brains or so) Nevertheless. Staying here, in a neighborhood where people are free to be themselves, made that journey even more meaningful. The staff works incredibly hard to keep everything running smoothly in a place that could easily become chaotic. The rooms, sheets, and towels were spotless, the prices were reasonable, and the bar was a great place to end the day. Best of all, it's close to the clubs in both my favorite neighborhood and my grandfather's. To the people leaving bad reviews because they expect silence and hotel service in a shared hostel: next time, book one of the private rooms. Hire a babysitter. Or treat yourself to an all-inclusive resort in Alanya, where the animation team will keep you entertained all day. Hostels aren't for everyone, but this one absolutely was for me.

When booking for a hostel, I was looking for a cozy place to chill before taking on the night. This is the ideal hostel to read a book, grab a bar, have a nice chat, and than take on the town. great energy and attracts amazing travelers

Cool place with cool vibes and cool people. Could be cleaner but it’s not bad. I stayed in a private room and it was nice to have a break in my trip from shared rooms, but still have chances to interact with people.

great atmosphere, especially at the bar. met so many nice people. comfortable bathrooms and showers as well.

The common areas are not very cosy and they smell like they are being smoked in at times. The staff seems at times a bit annoyed that they have visitors, but some are very helpful as well. The room was clean, but there was a lot of noise from doors closing at night.

This hostel is only worth it if you want to go to berghain considering it’s around the corner. I’m not a huge partier and didn’t have the best time. There’s not much else to do near the hostel. Also, there’s no wifi like advertised, when I notified staff of this they got defensive and told me it was working when it clearly wasn’t. Price for the value, you can find better elsewhere.

Good value for money, especially for Berlin. The sleeping capsules are comfortable, private and well ventilated, with a convenient access code. The location is good, bathrooms are clean, towels are provided and the breakfast is tasty and reasonably priced. However, the hostel felt quite busy and hectic, and I didn’t always feel the warm atmosphere I usually look for. The overall vibe is quite alternative and communityboriented, which simply wasn’t the best match for me.

This is one of the best hostel, I’ve ever stayed in! Spacious dorms, comfy beds, friendly staff and very social crowd.

Very low cost, very central, perfect for going out. Cheap breakfast. Very nice staff. Our room had a private bathroom, pretty clean. A very nice place to meet people, also. I would very much recommend this Hostel !

Amazing value. Atmosphere is amazing, the downstairs is almost like a bar/pub, lots of socialising. Staff also kept on top of noise ensuring a good night sleep for those who didn't wish to socialise downstairs. Location is great, near a supermarket and 10 mins from metro stop, east side mall and the east side gallery. Breakfast great value even if slightly limited spread. Would recommend if you're looking to socialise and explore the city.

Great value for money, the room needed a little bit of cleaning and the duvet/pillows were stained. Staff were very friendly and had no issues with the people in the dorm. You can rent a lock for a 5eur deposit to keep valuables in a locker, and the hostel also provides breakfast for a fee. Would stay again!

The vibes are unmatched

Amazing hostel. I was a bit sceptical because of the unbelievable low price, but I had an amazing stay. I slept well, bathrooms were fine, amazing breakfast for just 6 euros (and it goes from 7.15-12.00). I wish all hostels would be likt this one! Location is good, near the S Bahn & u Bahn :).

Great hostel, I loved it there It has everything you need, however one of the toilets was always clogged and the bathrooms could’ve been a little bit cleaner and less overflown

L'hôtel est sympa, le petit déjeuner aussi et le personnel de même. Mais concernant les douches communes il n'y a aucune serrure et peuvent s'ouvrir facilement, certaines ont besoin d'être réparée car il y a des trous..

Great location, but don't expect a social vibe. Clean and affordable, but the crowd kept to themselves. More bonding activities would really help. Good for exploring Berlin, not so great for meeting people.

Overall great hostel! Awesome social vibe, reasonably priced bar, great staff. My 6 bed had a balcony which was a nice touch. Bit of an old building, so not the newest facilities but everything worked well. Bathrooms were a little stinky sometimes, shower area is multigender if that matters to anyone. Bit of black mold in the showers. Also not a single full body mirror anywhere in this hostel, made it difficult to dress.

Something about the place felt a little dirty and old, the area felt a little dodgy in my opinion... No kitchen, although the staff were nice enough to keep some of my stuff in their own fridge since I needed to store it.

the rave music at 8am was crazy to wake up to rooms could probably do with a hoover otherwise really great stay and great party atmosphere

Overall, the hostel was good, but the Brazilian receptionist was unbearable — he answered guests' questions with such a bad attitude that it was obvious he hated his job. The location was very good.

Low rating largely due to lack of toilets. Two toilets per floor is no where near sufficient, especially if both are clogged. No air con. Black mold in showers. Super shady area too, wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers, d*** dealers literally hanging out in front of the building.

We had an amazing time at the Sunflower hostel. And shout out to the super nice Anastasia who prepared our room before our arrival. 100% recommand

From the moment we arrived we felt very unwelcome and very rude staff, particularly the man on the night shift. Very judgy atmosphere with strong distain for young girls

Personnel accueillant et souriant. Idéalement placée 5' Sbahn, U bahn, supérette. Très propre. Petit déjeuner copieux. Je conseille à 200%. Pas venu à Berlin depuis quelques années, a ensoleillé mon sejour.

a solid option, quite cheap. I think this hostel's biggest advantage is being so close to Berghain. What was surprising, it wasn't that noisy, even though it's so close to the club. The room, toilets, bathrooms and security are okay.

Nice people, staff know the area well for recommendations, good bar, great location near Warschauerstrasse (maybe misspelled) U-Bahn station and clubs area, good rooms, nice bathrooms, easy to meet people, decent prices and clean place.

capsule is great! Location is so so, everywhere Graffiti and dirty looking neighborhood. Staff are friendly and efficient. Facility work fine.

It's just not my tipe of hostels.

I cannot remember her name, but the DnB girl that starts at 0700am made my stay. Lovely crowd, great staff, small enough to feel very welcoming

We had a private room, it was clean, the windows when closed blocked off all the noise from the street and the employees were incredibly helpful and nice. We had accidentaly booked for the wrong date and they were kind enough to get us the same room at an earlier date for check-in

Superbe hostel, je garde l’adresse pour une prochaine fois !

Perfect hostel if you are visiting Berlin for its club scene. Had nice big lockers, spacious rooms, and a cool common area with a bar. It’s about 3 mins away from a station and around the corner from an Aldi which is super convenient. Only downsides were the lack of socialising between groups and the bizarre men that linger around the outside.

Had a great stay at sunflower! Really great amenities and overall a good location, just a small walk to restaurants/shops/etc. I want to shout out the staff, who were awesome. I had an issue with another guest and they handled it immediately and made sure I was ok. I felt really looked after and it went a long way in making me feel better about the situation. Nice social atmosphere too!

Soggiorno fantastico tutto bene accoglienza squisita. Non é vicinissimo alla Porta di Brandeburgo e al Reichstag ma per il resto tutto perfetto. Grazie ancora per tutto

Fantastic hostel, rooms were clean and it's about a 5 minute walk from a train station. It's got a great bar and we loved our stay. Would definitely book again.

We stayed in the pods which were ok. If the door was fully shut I felt stuffy so I slept with the door partially open. The lights in the pod rooms are also automatic so whenever someone moves in the middle of the night to go to the washroom of come back the whole room lights up which leaks into your pod even if it’s fully closed.

Rooms are clean. There are alot of facilities. The bar is lovely and the interior decor is very quirky. I highly recommend Sunflower Hostel!! It is situated in a great spot within Berlin where you can catch various forms of public transport. The staff are very helpful and kind too. My friends and I enjoyed our stay thoroughly

room was loud and smokey from the people out front of the hostel 24/7. Great place if you came to party tho

it feels like the rooms haven't seen a cleaning for months - it's very disgusting and unpleasant, also during summer the rooms become unbearable as they don't have fans or A/C and ventilation is awful. the staff is very weird, especially the men working at this hostel are very predator towards women solo travelling and it is a very uncomfortable behaviour. the location is super nice with a lot of vegan options around, but the hostel is very off

This hostel did not live up to expectations. Staff were super rude and seemed very irritated by the guests constantly. There are only 2 showers per gender on each floor of 20 ish rooms. On my floor the showers were just open, not lockable with no private cubicle to change in. The hostel overall was not very clean, bathrooms were kinda gross, same with the rooms and common areas. My sheets had stains and the towels smelled weird. The only good things were the breakfast and laundry machines

Staff were friendly and nice to speak with. However, the hostel is mainly used by people going to clubs so expect significant noise and crashing around from other guests early in the morning. If you want to sleep at night time this is probably not the hostel for you. Bed was comfy but the pillow is appalling. We have an en-suite shower which was powerful, the communal toilet was ok but could do with a more regular clean. Whilst accessible to the train station, I would not stay here again.

not very clean but i think that's just luck, is a lovely hostel with a great atmosphere in a good area
